About the Records Department

The Records Department at Fire Station 3, 33991 23 Mile Road, is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

It processes training requests, coordinates CPR classes and blood drives, fulfills Freedom of Information Act requests, gathers department statistics and issues open burn permits. In 2025 the Records Department processed 280 burn permits and 90 FOIA requests.

Responsibilities

  • Hand out File of Life packets, child seat and vessel ID stickers, and smoke detectors for residents when in stock
