The Chesterfield Township Fire Department is committed to making its website usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology. This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

What We Do

• Every page can be navigated with a keyboard, including the menus.
• Text and background colors meet or exceed the required contrast ratios.
• Images carry descriptive alternative text, and data tables include captions and headers.
• Pages use consistent headings and a skip link to the main content.
• Motion is reduced automatically when your device asks for it.

Documents

The site is tested regularly against these guidelines, most recently in September 2026, and an accessibility toolbar in the lower left corner of every page lets you adjust contrast, text size and spacing to suit you.

Some forms and annual reports are provided as PDF files. If you cannot use a PDF, contact the Records Department and we will see if it is possible to provide the information in another format.
