Our Department

Duty. Honor. Community.
Since 1954, we have led the effort to mitigate all hazards and manage all emergencies within the borders of Chesterfield Township, as well as provide fire safety inspections, prevention, and education to residents across Macomb County.
The department became a combination department in the early 2000s, and in August 2026 became the first fire department in Macomb County to earn CFAI Accredited Agency status. Today it protects roughly 30 square miles from two stations, around the clock.
