Explorer Program
Students ages 14-18 may apply for the Chesterfield Fire Department Explorer Program. Students will learn what it takes to be a firefighter and get some hands on training.

Operation Teddy Bear
Through Telephone Pioneers of America, we participate in OPERATION TEDDY BEAR, giving huggable Teddy Bears to children involved in traumatic situations.


Free Smoke Detectors for Newborns
This helps us win their confidence and calms them so we can help, Our HOME SAFE PROGRAM, sponsored by Chesterfield Bay Lions Club, gives free smoke detectors to Chesterfield Newborns.


Chesterfield Goodfellows/Toys for Tots
Chesterfield Firefighters and Firefighter's Local 4011 have taken over the responsibility of the Chesterfield Goodfellows organization. Chesterfield firefighters also help out with the local Toys for Tots program. The Chesterfield Fire Department employees are helping to make sure no Chesterfield child is without a Christmas. Anyone interested in volunteering, or if you are in need of help, or know someone who is, call the Chesterfield Goodfellows at 586-749 2CFD (2233). Phone lines are open from November 1st - December 1st each year.
